About YSPP

Print Page

girl in communityYSPP is a prevention education 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on reducing suicidal behaviors among the youth of Washington State.

We work towards that goal by raising public awareness, facilitating training and supporting communities in taking action.

We do not provide counseling services or telephone crisis intervention.

We believe that if more adults AND young people knew how to recognize the warning signs for suicide, and felt competent about what to say or do, and could comfortably seek help for a suicidal youth, we would prevent many of these unnecssary tragedies.
